: Whiteners are glycerin based which absorbs water form the teeth, thus disrupting the isotonic condition of the  
   tooth causing sensitivity.  In other words, the teeth get dehydrated during the whitening process, which
   causes the sensitivity.

: Is teeth whitening permanent?
: Yes! Whitening your by this method is permanent. However, depending on the amount of coffee, tea, wine
   and other stain causing food you consume re-staining may occur.

   You may wish to have a touch up every   6 -12 months.
